Leonard Vijverberg

Leonard Vijverberg is a managing director of L&S Trust Services SA, a Swiss-regulated trust company owned by Lenz & Staehelin’s partners, and a counsel in the firm’s Private Client group based in Geneva. His practice includes advising private clients and their families on estate planning, succession, issues of international private law, international investment and corporate structures, as well as contract and commercial law. This often involves dealing with cross-border issues. Leonard also advises trust companies, charities and foundations on regulatory, as well as administration and litigation matters.
Alexander Greter

Alexander Greter is a Lenz & Staehelin partner based in Zurich, where he advises banks and other financial services providers and fiduciaries, as well as Swiss and foreign private clients. His expertise lies in the areas of international trust law, regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions. This includes anti-money laundering regulation, as well as the automatic exchange of financial information such as FATCA and the Common Reporting Standard. Alexander also regularly advises on estate planning, matters concerning charitable foundations, tax law, and general commercial and corporate law.

Heini Rüdisühli is a Lenz & Staehelin partner in the Zurich office, where he leads the Private Clients practice group. His main field of activity is national and international tax planning for private individuals, as well as the taxation of corporate reorganisations and acquisitions. Fedor Poskriakov

Fedor Poskriakov is a Lenz & Staehelin partner in the Banking and Finance group based in Geneva, where he specialises in banking, securities and finance law with a focus on Fintech. He regularly advises on regulatory, contractual and corporate matters. Fedor’s practice covers banking, investment management and alternative investments, including private equity and hedge funds. He also advises on complex asset structuring and protection for business and private assets. Other practice areas include compliance advisory, internal investigations and private clients.

Patrick Schärli is a Partner in the Zurich Office where he co-heads the Capital Markets practice. He is also a member of the firm’s Banking and Finance as well as Corporate and M&A practice groups. Patrick has a broad and diversified practice covering capital markets matters as well as financial services regulatory matters, including cross-border transaction and licensing topics. He is a member of the editorial board of the corporate and capital markets law journal “Gesellschafts- und Kapitalmarktrecht (GesKR)” and a member of the editorial staff of the internet based law journal “CapLaw”. Patrick regularly publishes articles and other contributions in legal commentaries and law journals.
Daniel Schafer

Daniel Schafer is a partner and certified tax expert. As Deputy Head of Private Clients, Daniel principally advises on tax and legal questions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on estate and wealth planning as well as on real estate matters (transaction, structuring and acquisition). He practices domestic and international taxation in relation to corporate tax (including M&A, restructuring and relocation, and private equity) and Swiss VAT, often advising entrepreneurs and shareholders. Daniel also specialises in inheritance law and succession planning, including trust law matters.
David Ledermann

David Ledermann is a partner and an expert in corporate law, M&A and financing transactions. Much of his work is focused on complex equity financing for privately held companies, convertible debt financing, and debt financing backed by traditional and non-traditional assets such as art collections. David also has broad experience in M&A share and asset transactions across a wide range of industries including private banking, biotech, watchmaking and luxury goods, and financial services. He regularly advises Swiss and international investors, borrowers and lenders.
Mark Barmes

Mark Barmes studied Economics and Law at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia and is qualified as a solicitor both in that jurisdiction (1987) and in England and Wales (1992). Geneva-based, he is a foreign solicitor registered with the Geneva Bar Association since 1990 and was made a partner of Lenz & Staehelin’s Private Client group in 1998. In 2022, Mark was appointed Senior Counsel primarily advising on trust-related matters. He contributes actively in the field of wealth planning in Switzerland through membership of and lecturing for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and also as a member of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies (SATC). Mark has twice served on the SATC management committee since 2007, supporting it in regulatory issues and trustee licencing in Switzerland.
Andrew Whalley
L&S Services LP (Guernsey)
A Chartered Management Accountant and qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner, Andy Whalley joined L&S Services LP in Guernsey in 2025 as Partnership Manager. He brings a strong commercial focus and hands-on approach to client service, strategic planning and operational delivery. Andy holds a BSc from Durham University and the IoD Diploma in Company Direction, and has over 25 years’ experience in senior finance and leadership roles across investment banking, property development and fiduciary services. Previously he has held board-level roles, including that of managing director, at regulated firms in Guernsey and London.
Robert Habin
L&S Services LP (Guernsey)
Robert Habin joined L&S Services LP in Guernsey in November 2020 and served as its Partnership Manager from 1st January 2021 until 1st June 2025. Since then, he has been employed as the Deputy Partnership Manager and Money Laundering Compliance Officer. He has considerable fiduciary experience having worked exclusively for trust companies in Guernsey since 1987. During this time he has developed a broad range of skills in varied roles including trust and company administration, business development, client accounting, software configuration and implementation, compliance, risk management and human resources. Robert is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (FICA) having completed the International Diploma in Trust Management and International Diploma in Compliance.
